| MJ Hibbett is a legend to visitors of this site through his "Hey Hey 16K" (and the sequel "Hey Hey 64K"), but his musical history (and that of his band, the Validators) stretch back aeons. Indie in the true sense of the word, MJ analyses the world: not in a morose way but in a very truthful, often upbeat way. From a stab an people who only ever define themselves in terms of things they don't like, to the story of being a libertarian tourist in the unfamiliar surroundings of a Gay Pride parade, MJ's songs are full of observation, wordplay and wit.
